There, he embraced the challenges of rural medicine in Queensland before settling in Leeton in 2002.

Dr. Pettersson is deeply passionate about delivering high-quality family and rural healthcare, ensuring every patient receives the attention and care they deserve. In addition to his general practice, he provides essential general surgical services at Leeton Hospital, playing a vital role in the community’s health. His expertise extends to supporting the obstetric service, where he skillfully performs Cesarean sections when needed, making a significant impact on the lives of families in the area. With a commitment to compassionate care and a wealth of experience, Dr. Pettersson is truly a pillar of health in Leeton!

He earned his medical degree in the vibrant landscapes of Peru back in 2002 and is currently honing his skills in the RACGP training program. With a solid background in critical care medicine, Dr. Battistini brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, he connects with a diverse range of patients, ensuring they feel understood and cared for. Outside of his medical pursuits, Dr. Battistini is passionate about cooking up delicious meals, hitting the gym for invigorating workouts, and exploring new destinations around the globe.
